Minhee had been living in a world built on contraries of the hostile surrounding, including her problems with the gang and her debt and the warmer one full of care and warmth. Then again that was just life, there is always two sides of the story, of life or even more and everyone makes a decision which side to look at. It often happens that the dark side is more active and attracts more attention than the good one - yet it is there.
Minhee was a positive person, even though she was beaten and tortured, humiliated every month when the so called “collectors” were coming to get the part of the debt and if she wasn’t ready to give the needed sum she was getting another scar on her body as a reminder. Yet to keep living she has to believe in a happy ending, in happiness, in love and kindness thus she chose to be one of the people who spread it. Otherwise she wouldn’t see the point in living, she wouldn’t be able to enjoy the little things in life as they would be meaningless.
With a light shrug of her shoulders she looked at the younger female taking another second to think of the question. “I don’t know, i just have to believe in it. That everything will be okay in the end and if it’s not okay you’re simply not there yet so you gotta keep fighting through to making to your happiness…”
Naive, silly, wide-eyed, like a babe in the woods. She had heard all those things lots of time and she could see where those conclusions coming but it was something she believed in and she was going to stick up to it.
Hana’s uncertain of how people can maintain such a proper composure without cracking through the pressure that’s built between themselves and everything in the world. Having moments of displaying positivity despite her understanding how difficult life can be, they both of them were similar but too different. Minhee’s aspect of the world displayed a more optimistic side, one the younger woman could never obtained. Due to how thick headed she was, holding onto things instead of letting it go as a way of displaying forgiveness to those who placed pain upon her emotions.
When the words escaped the other’s lips, Hana doesn’t speak over and say a word yet. In complete disbelief when she catches the obvious signs of stress building up within the other’s feelings. The young musician never understood how she can earn these types of friends, people who had hope and believed in the better of the world. Yet, here she was watching things crumble or mocking them due to how they were completely delusional about everything else that life offered. A hum rumbles at the center of her throat, nose scrunching up a little with her eyes averting to the other direction.
❝Got one hell of a mindset there.❞ A little too hard to actually process it inside of her mind. Then again, she wasn’t one who obtained such a conclusive mindset for herself during the years. ❝Not that it’s bad.❞ There’s a firm line between creating illusions or understanding what life has to offer. Her gaze never drifts to Minhee yet, fingers gliding through the strands of her dark tresses to push it away from her visage.
❝Then again, happiness is always a tough
one to hold onto, right?❞
