"Get some rest now, doctor's orders." The Visionary smiled gently, placing her hand with the lightest of touches on their shoulder. "I can take over things from here." She reassured them.
@potestmagice continued from here x. The Professor nodded gently as she listened to the other. "The Visionary," she repeated, testing the name on her own lips. "A fitting title, I'd say. I'm intrigued. What visions guide you, Visionary?" The tunnels the two walked down seemed to stretch endlessly. Like it was a labyrinth beneath the surface of some forgotten world. The air seemed to be thick with a sense of history, and the occasional drip of water echoed through the chambers.
"It's not a willing title." She said flatly. "My visions are complicated to answer," the Visionary answered in such a way that suggested the subject closed. She saw across space and time. If she really wanted to she could read the timelines like one might read a book, but the cost would be losing oneself to them. She'd seen that and swore she would never let it happen to her.
She shined her lantern on the walls of a large cavern they entered. It was covered in pictograms and ancient text. "I don't recognize this language and my ship isn't translating." That was concerning. Perhaps the art would help her understand.
