The decision to tell Jeremy was actually one that Daisy had made for him. She was right though, he was the guy that he had been with the longest. Besides someone, he didn’t dare to think about.  Hell, maybe they weren’t anything-- but he decided that he was going to tell Jeremy and get it over with.

His hands were shaking slightly, as he took deep breaths to keep himself calm. He had gotten better about not thinking about it, but that didn’t mean it still didn’t frighten him.’’---Could we talk?’’ He asked, gaze locked to the floor. It was probably obvious something was wrong, his lopsided grin was gone and replaced with a look of sadness on his face.

if you saw max without his guitar, it would probably mean something was wrong or he had lost it, again. but he was sitting in the corner of the small garden, his back pressed up against the brick as he continued to strum against the guitar strings.
