'i did everything for you, but you're so fucking blind!' // rosie&roxy
“ YOU HAVE GOT TO GET OVER YOURSELF! “ the blonde yelled, eyes flashing dangerously as her hands balled up into fists. “ no one asked ya to do a damn thing rosemary. you were the one that had to take over mom’s role. “ it wasn’t that she didn’t appreciate the things her sister did for her, because she knew, she knew that rose was the reason their family hadn’t fallen apart when she took off without so much as a goodbye but she was tired of it looming over her head. roxanne wade, wasn’t the same person she had been and it was like she didn’t see that.
“ are you going to harp on it for the rest of our lives? god! why do you think i can’t stand being near you? “ she angrily declared as she ran a hand through her blonde locks. “ look around rose, i don’t need you to look out for me anymore and quite frankly i’ve never had. “ and she didn’t. she was her own person, with her own ideas about life and they were unconventional and most of them frowned upon by the society they lived in but she didn’t care. she had always moved to the beat of her own drum. she did things because she wanted to, because she felt them and that was the end of that.
“ white picket fence, 2.5 kids is not the only way to live. it’s just yours. “ roxy stated once again before sighing loudly. she loved her life, traveling, seeing the world with arnie the two of them making their own memories. “ and for all that it matters i am married. i don’t care about the stupid dress or the party. didn’t ya have enough of that yet? ain’t the little garroway’s weddin enough? or what about yours? ya had your own. ya do the things you want to. so back off and let me do things my way. because i swear … “ she didn’t finish her sentence but the idea was present in the back of her mind.
she and arnie didn’t have to come back, the only reason they ever did was because she wanted to see juliette and gene and deep down she knew that there was a wish for her sisters as well. but she was tired of fighting for something that was so obviously never going to be fixed. “ i don’t need things to be perfect… but i can’t and won’t sit here while you keep judigin every move that i make. it’s my life rose. MINE. so ya either accept it or don’t let the door hit ya where the good lord split ya. “
