mike winner's room thoughts (WHY HE WOULD BE INTERESTING).
ok so. TO ME mike is like thoroughly thick-skinned has HAD to be and is vaguely dopey at times pathetic has a reasonable grasp on most situations (captain shit IYKWIM) is completely capable of Finishing Things knows perfectly well how to hit where it hurts and does (mean streak. sometimes he feels bad about it sometimes not). He DOES have a temper but it's not, like, a short temper.
anyway this is wildly compelling for all kinds of winner's room scenarios because i think he could really piss people off he would just Take It let it happen to him does react to it and sure it's kind of fucking pathetic or weird etc etc but the other player would i think feel weirdly empty and also like a loser DESPITE ostensibly winning. and i also believe in mike’s grudge-holding capabilities enough that I think he'd be at least a LITTLE nasty have a #vengeful mindset when called-for (when he's the one in charge of the room....you see......) which is to say u go in there smack him around etc etc and afterwards he's looking at you big soft dark eyes all red mouth kind of hard though and he's clearly gone and gotten SOMETHING out of this he's walked away with some part of you. and you don't know what. and then when he picks you for HIS winner's room....ruh roh!!!!!

It's just so boring to me when Graz'zt is reduced to "sex pest demon" (<- guy who is allowed because she's JOKING) because the approach feels so base and... I dunno, pornographic, for lack of a better term coming to mind. Slaanesh is much closer, on-paper, to my concrete thoughts and ideas about this guy. It's not so much about the sexual (although it is about that, too!) as it is the erotic, or even more generally the sensual. A lot of baser, more bestial, explicitly sex-driven Graz'zt interpretations feel like they kill the erotic for me.
Yes. he's present in the sexual and the filthy and the base and the corrupt. But he's also just as present in the drive that keeps you awake until sunrise finishing a book because it was just that good; he's in the one and only glass of wine you indulge in after a very long, difficult day; he's in the way you could spend the rest of your life refining and perfecting and refining and perfecting a single magnum opus and, as a result, never finish it.
Every little indulgence that slips over the line into something more insidious is where he lives. Way more interesting than Sex Pest Demon.
and if I said Plain Sailing Weather by Frank Turner was not only a Jack Abbot song, but also a Michael Robinavitch and a Frank Langdon song, what then?
