Short 20s Kylux drabble
Millicent was curled up on the couch, sleeping calmly. The house was quiet that morning, and the silence was peaceful.
“SQUEEEEHAWNK!”
The silence was broken by a horrible noise, one which caused Milly to yowl and dive under the couch. Sure enough, her human was practicing on the big gold thing, the one that made awful sounds.
Milly wasn’t the only one perturbed by it- the sour note caused Kylo to jump out of his chair in pure shock, thus causing him to misspell part of his manuscript.
“Damn it, Hux, this manuscript is due soon, and you think now’s a good time to practice?” He sat up from the typewriter and grabbed a bottle of white-out. Sure enough, a slender redhead walked in with a tenor saxophone hanging from his neck.
“Practice makes perfect, Ren. I thought you knew.” With this, Hux closed his eyes and began playing horribly on purpose.
“OK, Armitage, no more jazz for you.”
“Don’t be a killjoy, just let me play! Besides, Miss Cora’s got a show on Friday, and I’ve got a solo to boot!”
Kylo sighed and had to agree. Miss Cora was a demanding jazz singer, the girl had a set of pipes on her. Since the original sax player for the band was a notorious drunk and ran off with another girl, Hux was Cora’s last hope. Luckily, he was the only one that auditioned for her, so he got the job. The only ones who didn’t seem to like his practicing were Kylo and Millicent.
“Well, that wasn’t surprisingly abysmal, but from now on, stick to playing the blues, ok?” Ren said, turning back towards the typewriter as Millicent padded up the stairs.
“Your wish is my command,” Hux said. He closed his eyes and began playing a soulful blues. A faint smile played on Kylo’s lips when hearing Armitage’s music.
“This is why I love you,” Kylo said. Hux, unable to respond because he was still playing, winked at Ren. The song finished and Kylo applauded.
“I know you do,” he replied, giving Kylo a peck on the cheek. Even Millicent seemed to enjoy the serenade.
She’s gonna romance Asra.
@fiercesouls asked: cook . [//Clara and river because despite her souffles never turning out well she's actually an amazing chef!]

If it weren't for all the dinner dates she had to gather information and charm people off their belongings, River could forget to eat for days. A good thing the Tardis reminded her. And when it wasn't the ship, it was Clara making herself some lunch. How could a girl resist the delicious scent of garlic wafting from the kitchen? Not only that but the mouth watering sight that was Clara, all business, keeping track of whatever recipe she was making.
Besides, the Tardis still loved to play pranks on Clara every now and then, hiding the instruments she needed only for them to reappear once River looked in the cabinet. But how could either of them resist to see Clara pout when it was so damn adorable?
"Don't be like that, dear." Who she's talking to is anyone's guess. "You have the whisker now."
@missysrehabilitation cont : ( missy & helen )
“What?” Missy said, looking over her shoulder at Helen. Granted, the human looked a bit peaky but she certainly wasn’t at deaths door. At least she hoped not. It wasn’t often she was trying to keep humans alive…
“No, yer fine. It’s just a wee bit further. Keep the pressure on the wound and I’ll get you back to the Tardis in no time...”
“It’s not as easy as you make it sound,” Helen groaned. She looked down at the hand at her side and the blood that seeped through it - oh, that was a mistake. Now she felt sick on top of everything else. Of all the things she had experienced and being speared on the side hadn’t been on the list yet. Great. She could check that off once she got back home.
“Can we get there faster?”
@rxrywilliams from here:
Rory suddenly became aware that he’d thrown up his hands in premature surrender, leaving the rest of him open to the elements. It was in times like this that he was both desperately disappointed and unfathomably relieved not to be facing Amy.
“Um, In my pants!”
“Actually. Properly. Standing here in my pants! In my home. Which I am allowed to do!”
–and his hands were still up. His hands were still definitely up.
“Could you–” he motioned. “Y’know–”
Mels looked down at him, unimpressed, indifferent.
“Yeah, well, put them on, then. Or stay without. I don’t care.”
She jumped off the windowsill because yes, of course she sneaked through the window instead of knocking like a normal person - boring. Besides why else did they let that tree grow right in front of it if they didn’t want her to climb it?
With a small hop, she sat on his bed, legs crossed.
“Take your time, I’m sure whatever I came here for wasn’t important and urgent.”
A roll of her eyes but she already found something to keep her hands busy with - the book on his night table. “Do you really read this?”

“Shhhh!” A hand comes out of the table, grabs the woman’s wrist and pulls her down with her. There’s been a disrution in time and space nearby and she’s still trying to figure out what exactly caused it. “Have you seen anything weird? Anything... out of the ordinary?”
