Little did most people know that Steve Rogers, the Captain America, was an absolute menace. They were training, Steve giving Clint a real hellish work out. It was easy for Steve to overpower him. He’s a super-soldier after all. The archer likes these times, he gets to improve himself and get pointers from Steve. He also gets to have a good time with the guy, he respected and looked up to a lot. However, today he is a different kind of menace. When Steve pins him, he doesn’t just let him up. He presses a kiss to his lips and then presses a line of questioning he has avoided before. However, there’s no holiday excuse available. So he huffs and shoves at Steve a little, “You are an asshole, Rogers.” No avoiding feelings now. “Sure, why not? Treat me nice on a date.”
Steve was someone people didn’t think was harsh. Or amusing maybe. He was precise and knew what he wanted. And sure he had put the situation in a way he wanted it to be. And at the very moment, he wanted the truth from Clint and he knew he would get it. Steve got out of Clint after being pushed, getting the answer he wanted. The one he had been asking for so long without any reply. He tapped Clint lightly. “You’ve been avoiding my question, I had to take actions in my own hands. Sorry about that.” But he wasn’t that sorry about it. It was was a necessary annoyance for the moment. “You won’t regret it. Wine and dine that’s the plan.”
