optimistic? yes. friendly? yes. overbearing? depends on who you ask.
these traits of his are things of which reef is quite aware. though he often dismisses the last as remarks of those that differ greatly from him and possibly have no way of understanding joy whatsoever. but anyway. truth be told, there are often times in which he dives headfirst into situations in which he may not be wanted, but it’s never with malicious intent.
and so he found himself seated beside hyojin (who seemed a bit busy, but could he really help himself?), who was reading what appeared to be - at least from his oh-so subtle craning of his neck in the direction of the pages - rocket science? greek? a panacea for the world’s ills? that is, until he saw diagrams with which he could somewhat recall from high school.
this was physics. and he, despite being the brightest kid in his class, was hardly one to claim he understood as much as a word of what was scribed within the binding. so he reaches behind him with one hand to scratch the back of his neck, a quirk of his when confused, brows furrowed as he reads aloud the first sentence he sees, gaze shifting to her features upon finishing.
