why waste time and say lot word when one door do trick?
The six principles of conflict resolution are to affiliate, to empathize, to engage, to own, to self-restrain, and to build trust. There is also a seventh, quite underrated principle that Professor Nam seemed to be completely unaware of: to not fail. More specifically, to not fail the football club's best striker.
Byeongkwan didn't even want to take interpersonal communications in the first place. It's an easy A, they said. All you have to do is show up, they said. And sure, he could've showed up to more than two classes that semester, but he was preoccupied with more important matters like breaking his juggling record and getting his soundcloud off the ground ( he was already at a solid 12,000 followers strong which was pretty much famous and wouldn't need school much longer anyway ). Unfortunately, neither of those extracurricular activities factored into his final grade and after last semester's performance this failure would have him benched for the foreseeable future. After a solid week of groveling and at least two bribery attempts, he'd moved onto the next stage of GPA grief - bargaining.
If he was going to drop a letter grade, his professor would be losing an office door. Fair is fair.
Now, what did this have to do with the scavenger hunt? Nothing, absolutely nothing. If anything, this little trip was more of a - "Side quest. Trust me, it'll be quick," he mutters over his shoulder, making easy work of the door's top hinge with a screwdriver confiscated from the janitor's closet. "Besides, the security guard isn't going anywhere... And it's not like your house is winning this tournament anyway, so just relax and don't let this thing fall, alright?"
