quick running steps take taehyung down the surprisingly empty neighbourhood, mile long legs taking him far and fast, breath rapid and heavy against his face mask.
it’s not usually like this. rare are the times that taehyung runs away from someone that names themselves as a fan, and in such times, it’s usually his manager or a body guard that helps him out of the situation. usually taehyung is actually one to stay and chat, offer a smile and a picture to anyone that happens to recognise him on the streets.
but with fame comes a wide range of so called fans, taehyung has learnt. those who are polite and shy, and those who lose all common sense regarding personal space when they lay their eyes on their favourite artist. it’s unfortunate, truly, because taehyung doesn’t wish to think badly of anyone, but he also can’t afford a screaming girl drawing all attention to him, especially when he had only meant to go for a calm night walk.
he runs as quick as his legs allow him to, glancing over his shoulder quickly. he can’t see her anymore, but he can still hear her calling out for him in the muffled distance and he inwardly cursed at the situation, anxiety rising in his chest from the adrenaline and fear of having everyone in that neighbourhood wake up to this scene.
considering such nerves-wrecking situation, perhaps it’s understandable that taehyung’s brain, when he spots a door being open ahead, directs him to do nothing other than pretty much fly forwards and into this stranger’s house. it’s clumsy and not ideal - he pretty much tackles the taller boy first thing and almost loses his balance by stumbling over his feet, but still reaches a hand to quickly close the door behind him. “oh, god-” he breathes out, only now noticing how heavy his breathing was, pulling his face mask down to breathe more properly. he looks back up at the man with wide eyes, heart drumming strongly against his chest. “i’m sorry, i’m so sorry, i just-” he gestures towards his back in a frantic way, as if that alone would explain the whole situation.
again, not an ideal way of handling the situation - but he panicked.
