Well, Betty wanted to be accepted by Yale so hard and hearing that everyone around her is being accepted surely made her sad, especially when she heard it from Brett’s mouth. I feel like she her face was evident that she was uncomfortable, she was angry at Brett. Which was also seen in the quiz show. But as for Jug, she wasn't really mad at him, but she was still upset, but she didn't say anything to him because she loved him. And the intensity that hung between them was so strong, it hurt. And the fact that Jug didn't specifically tell Betty, and he didn't want to talk about it at all, he just let it slip, suggests that he knew it would upset her. And God, I can't blame him for that. Or her neither.
🤔 am I allowed to be mildly sad forever
I miss my kitter
