Alice knelt still as the black blood of the monster was being cleaned off of her.
That was too close. What turned into a very careful research day with this new, yet promising paranormal investigation group turned into a fight for their lives. At least they were prepared for that. However, she wound up being separated when one of the monsters, known as the Woe Bone, dragged her away. The only thing that stopped it from devouring her was when Blitzo came into view. When it targeted him, Alice managed to get her hands on an axe that was poking out of his backpack of weapons and struck it down onto its head. She never thought that she’d have to use an axe again. Maybe it might become her signature weapon?
She couldn’t help but remember when she heard Blitzo say that if you kill, you’ll go to hell. The only thing she killed in her life up to now was what turned out to be hallucinations brought to life. So, they couldn’t count, right? But what about monsters? Especially since...these were rumored to once be human.
“Uh, quick question: does killing monsters count as a ticket to hell?” She asked.
