The buzzing blast of an energy shot, a swift high-flying dart of yellow and white ducking and weaving in-between each and every one. It was a marvel of mid-air prowess, mind not even worrying about fighting back for the time being. Right now, he was just the bait. And these one-track minded bucket of bolts were eating it right up! Because he could slowly dispatch these guys once he had the time to do so...
But currently, his friend and tag-along was going to get stuck in the cross-fire if he started fighting now.
So much for a quick and easy material run to the old workshop.
“I’ll keep their shots on me! Lani! Find some safety and get to cover!” Boulders littered the field, a daring dash between threatening machines to reach the workshop’s doors and safe interior, or a mad sprint to somewhere other than here could be done. Options were endless, though time was running thin. The fox couldn’t dodge forever, after all.
