((no but cecil telling past!kevin that he’d win. i just. imagine kevin being tortured by strex and he holds onto this tiny hope that they’ll still win. even when his eyes are being removed or they’re forcing him to smile in some horrible way he still remembers cecil saying they’d win the rebellion.
its too late when he realizes that cecil was lying. and it feeds into kevin’s hostility for cecil later on. (◕‿◕✿) ))
