After an absolute fiasco of the Breadpocalypse that started off the new year, Zinnia was rather peeved at just where all that came from. That, and she was tired of having to eat it for awhile. She was pretty sure her Pokemon were tired of it as well. Man, the places where the baguettes hit were still smarting.
Which led her to have to sort out just where some popular bakeries and such were. That probably wouldn’t fly well with the police if she wanted to target multiple locations. After thinking it over for a bit, she decided not to do so because her conscience was nagging at her about one of her past lives who had a best friend whose grandfather owned a bakery. Thanks for being a good influence in this life too, Latere family.
Aster certainly did not like the look of utter mischief in Zinnia’s eyes and was confused by the new outfit she was wearing. Was Zinnia actually a bit fashion-conscious because this was Kalos?
Dendemille Town was certainly a quiet little rural town, a bit too cold for Zinnia’s taste, but certainly the ‘town where fluff dances on the wind’ held more than just windmills, farmlands, and the pavilion where Showcases were held, right?
Oh indeed, it was referring to a bread factory where Zinnia supposed a lot of the local crops could be worked into producing the stuff she was tired of now.
“W-well now Aster, look here. The source of all the food we’ve been eating for a few days now. Looks k-kinda impressive, doesn’t it? And really warm. Oh crap, is that snow falling?”
Aster chirped out an affirmative before the front doors opened and a scent wafted out of it, along with a gust of warm air. It was almost as if they were being beckoned in.
“Aster, don’t just go in without meeee!” Zinnia shouted, chasing after the Whismur and skidding to a halt when she saw Aster pause in front of the doors, turning to look behind Zinnia. The woman herself mirrored the motion, blinking.
“...uh...fancy seeing you here, Touya.”
