Orange Lillies and yellow Carnations, flowers that usually aren't used in a bouquet due to their meanings, and yet the second-year Hotarubi student had arranged one with said flora. Now, he was personally delivering them to the same man who had gifted him a stuffed bear about a year prior.
Kei knew, oh he absolutely knew what they meant, he had studied the language of flowers after Towa personally delivered a bouquet to him. They put great effort into looking which flowers wouldn't get used in most arrangements due to their meanings, but Wolfsbane wouldn't really go with yellow and orange, would it? Maybe he should've added them after all, purple and yellow are complementary colors but the orange throws everything off.
Why is he overthinking this, actually?
The cool air of the Frostheim house bit the Hotarubi student's skin, but they marched on ahead. They spent far too much time finding an aesthetically pleasing arrangements for the flora, and it wasn't going to waste.
He didn't quite know where Jin's room was located, though.
What else could he do, really? Besides asking around, he may as well wander the halls while reading the nameplates to find where he needed to go.
After several minutes, Kei finally emerged into a section where Kamurai's room was located, and he half-considered just knocking without any clarification, but he was better than that. A quick message was sent to the Frostheim captain that simply reads:
> Kamurai
> I'm currently outside your room, and if it's alright, may you open the door?
> Or at least tell me to come in, either would do.
[ @ask-kei-machi ] [Valentine's interaction?]
Jin is a little surprised to see a message from Kei, but he doesn't think much of it. He texts him back.
[ It's open. ]
