Sky knew it didn't matter that he made no sound as stepped onto the balcony from sheer habit, the bond between him and his mate always was a way to give his mate a lock to his positioning regardless of where in the multiverse he happened to be. He moved to stand beside Warp leaning his elbows on the balcony and shifted enough to solidly bump the darker Seeker's shoulder. "C-can we talk about it?" He asked quietly, optics concerned. "I-I never hear ya out on what you think you've let me down on."
Warp turned his helm, smile quirking at his lips as his he felt his mate draw close, shifting so Sky could lean on the railing next to him. He leaned into the shoulder bump, flashing a grin at his mate. He raised an optic ridge at the question, and gave a small, somewhat sheepish smile, glancing down at his highgrade cube.
“That obvious, Slagger?” Black wings twitched, and Warp sighed, leaning sideways to soak in the warmth of his mate. “Didn’t mean to make it seem like more than it is. Clean slate, I know it’s forgiven… although maybe I’m just overthinkin’ it.” He watched Sky out of the corners of crimson optics, shifting to brush their shoulders together and soak in the comfort of touch. He took another long drink from the highgrade cube before setting it back on the railing and turning to face Sky, leaning his hip against the railing instead.
“I just… early in our Thing. I was… not nice to you. I pushed you away, made you think that I rejected your advances… when honestly I savored them, wanted more, couldn’t stop hovering around you. But I made you think I didn’t want you.” His optics dropped and his wings flicked and slicked back before he raised his gaze back to Sky’s. “I failed you, made you feel unwanted. And later, when you offered me your leash… I failed you again, I didn’t take it, I left you alone to suffer while you dealt with a big loss.” He shifted closer and raised one hand to hold onto Sky’s hip, leaning his frame against Sky’s, needing the closeness. “I feel… guilty about it sometimes?”
