It’s kinda funny... here I thought that I was the one stuck in my own fantasy land. That all of the friends I’ve made are just part of an elaborate dream. I’m just waiting for everything to come crumbling down around me and reveal that I’m still on the surface, living the hell on earth I’ve been going through the last hundred years...

it was a nightmare. she didn’t know what it wasthat triggered it, but there it was. an all too familarface was grasping at her arms and dragging herforwards. away. and she was begging. pleading for him to let her go. if he loved her- he’d let her go.

but she knew he wouldn’t. which was why she fought.why her hand came out and landed on his cheek toget just one moment of freedom. one moment for a chance and then- reality snapped back like a rubberband.

it wasn’t her ex dragging her back to his apartment.it was someone else. green eyes and attire. she pulledaway from the hand on her wrist as her fingers cameup to rub at her eyes and try to stifle the tears as shehiccupped apologies. 

“-I’m sorry! I’m so sorry. I didn’t know it was you- I thought     it was someone else. I didn’t see you. I’m so sorry...”
