Benedict hits "Finishing the Hat" when he runs away after Sophie demands to know why he thinks it's suitable to kiss her.

Benedict hits "Being Alive" when he tries to propose to Sophie right before the bath.

Violet hits "Children Will Listen" when Benedict crashes out at her about being in love with Sophie.

Somewhere in all this, is Rosamund, miss Hollis and a third debutante doing "You Could Drive a Person Crazy."

LOFTY TELL US MORE ABOUT PIPPIN AND MY LIFE IS YOURS

I don’t remember if this is repeating myself or not but Pippin is the youngest of four in his family, and he’s kind of the “forgotten” heir as a result. Obviously the crown prince is the biggest concern, his older brother has some important role to fill, his older sister is a huge deal because she’s the only princess, and then there’s just him. He’s used to political functions and being constantly watched, but he’s also used to just being a wall decoration. Like his family cares but they’re running a country, he’s the spare heir. He goes places, looks regal, leaves.

Pippin is super quiet and, when it comes to interpersonal relations, quite shy. He loves to read, is sensitive and timid, but has a soft and kind heart, even if he doesn’t have much confidence to back it up. He’s honestly terrified when Zelda arranges to marry him - he’s been to Hyrule a few times with his siblings for political stuff, but if he marries her then this is his home and he’s alone somewhere foreign and he’s not a fan. His sister tries to reassure him, and Zelda herself asks him if he agrees to the marriage (she technically made the proposal to the king and queen, but after they agreed she was like “oh right uh I should REALLY ask the guy I’m marrying too haha whoops” because let’s be real this Zelda will bulldoze her way through anything but she tries to be empathetic). He goes along with it because, well, what else is he supposed to do? He’s a prince, this is part of the job/life. But he grows into it, and he and Zelda grow fond of each other - I don’t know if they’re ever in love, maybe they will be, but they’ll definitely love each other. It just takes some warming up.
