“You know, I was about to say that you look upset about something, but maybe you’re just working that tortured artist thing right now,” Cas commented as he came up next to the artist, unashamedly trying to look over his work and compare skill. “A lot of greats say that’s where their muse comes from is personal pain, don’t they?”

Not that he actually cared, but Cas was bored and certain things were attention catching. A guy sat up with an easel happened to be one of those things. “How about I sit down and let you do your thing and I try to figure out what has that look on your face? If I get it right, you have a drink with me.” @calebgoldstein​

In general, Tristan didn’t particularly want to encourage Xiomara’s friends to stay over, nor did he want to encourage them to leave their things at his flat. Unfortunately, things had a trend of not going to the way that Tristan wanted them to now that he was in England, and while Vanja’s art supplies had no business being in his flat, Tristan hadn’t actually meant to break them.

Replacing them was the right thing to do in this situation, but Tristan didn’t know anything about art and felt a little lost in the supply store as he looked around. All he owed Vanja was a copy of what he’d broken, but maybe if it was a better version, Vanja wouldn’t leave it around where it could get broken in the first place? 

He should make Xio do this since it was her friend, but somehow it seemed like everything kept falling to him. Sighing as he stuck his hands in his pockets, he moved next to a stranger in one of the aisles and asked hopefully, “Is that one good?” Not that he knew if there was a good or bad when it came to an easel, but still. @calebgoldstein
