@demagia wanted an HP Starter! Cameron for Draco!
She would be on the train home for Christmas break by now. Cameron thought to herself as she waved her hand and a kettle began to warm up the water that was in it for tea. She would also have been saying goodbye to her friends and be filled with sadness but excitement. It should be her last year at Hogwarts but instead she had been thrown into the middle of a war and had joined the Order of the Phoenix. She hadn’t gone back for seventh year. Hogwarts wasn’t safe and she doubted it would ever be safe again. The blonde sighed as she moved about the little cottage. Her mother trusted her and knew that she couldn’t stop her daughter, the same daughter who wanted to be a curse breaker and the same daughter who was every bit of a warrior like both of her parents. She’d get revenge for her father, the bounty hunter that had been killed by deatheaters during the first wizarding war. She was barely old enough to remember it but she remembered bits and pieces of him.
She shook her head of the thoughts as she walked over to the kettle, grabbing a tea cup on the way and fixing her team with sugar and cream just how she liked it. She hadn’t realized how lonely she was until it was moments like these, moments where it was very real that it was just her and the deer in her woods. She sighed softly, knowing that she had the Order but she was a silent member for them, the Cursed Huntress is what she’d been deemed and Cameron was more than happy to live up to that name even if the deaths she had dealt haunted her almost every night. She frowned when she felt a familiar prickle of magic. Cameron knew that magic like she knew her own but her heart stopped.
How had he found her? Were there others? The thoughts were enough to get her on her feet and reaching for her wand. She didn’t think that Rain had probably been the reason Draco Malfoy had found her but still... The blonde couldn’t imagine why he would want to find her. They had tried to get her to talk to him and see if he would spy for them but Cameron had known better and she had never reached out. That never stopped her from thinking about him, from thinking about what they could be if they had a normal life. Maybe they’d be... Cameron shook her head. She didn’t need to think about that. Right now, she needed to figure out how the hell he’d found her and what did he want.
She tenses at the knock on the door but she moves towards it, wand drawn, and at the ready. She opened it slowly, silvery blue eyes meeting his grey blue eyes. The very eyes that haunted her dreams and thoughts every day.
There are so many things that she wants to say to him but the words that come out are not the first ones she wanted to say.
“How did you find me?”
