AN EARLY SHIFT MEANT THAT MIKE could dedicate the afternoon to doing things he’d been meaning to, but hadn’t gotten around to yet. one of those was of high importance to him, especially since it concerned flynn. his friend hadn’t asked him to do anything, but the tramp had felt the need to help things along with him and his lady-friend in whatever way he could. he had an advantage that nobody else did, and that was working at the best italian restaurant in town. the man pulled up on his motorbike, after disturbing the peace in rapunzel’s quiet neighborhood with the roar of his engine, and un-strapped the delivery case from the body of the vehicle to retrieve the pizza box from inside. if there was one thing that could fix anything, it was pizza. he knocked on the door a few times, a little nervous as he considered the possibility that rapunzel wouldn’t want to speak to a friend of flynn’s if she thought he was there to defend his actions. “raps, you gotta answer. c’mon. no? okay... guess i’ll have to eat this pizza myself, then.”
