Where: Lucas and Noah’s Dorm Room
When: Tuesday, December 11th
Noah was laying on his side facing the wall, his phone close to his face. For some reason, Kelly was at a dog park, and she had been sending pictures of all the dogs she had been able to pet, and he was loving it. At this point, Noah was dying for the semester to end. He had been so lonely, felt so lost, and all he wanted to do was be with his sisters. He knew Lucas was in the room too, and that made him feel slightly less alone, but Noah still wasn’t sure how to ask what had happened over break. Hell, Noah himself still didn’t really want to talk about how his break went, but he felt like he should still be making sure Lucas was at least feeling better.
But instead, he continued to send heart eye emoji’s as Kelly flooded his phone with puppy pictures. Fudge was in a lot of them as well, and Noah couldn’t wait to meet the funky lil brown pudgy pug. He was adorable, and had the zoomies a lot, which Kelly recorded, because he was such a tiny little puppy.
Noah suddenly felt something beam him in the back of the head and he yelped, sitting upright too fast and causing his back to spasm painfully. He hissed, bringing a hand to the back of his head, rubbing lightly, before he blinked at Lucas’s phone. He picked it up and turned to his roommate, looking at him curiously as he subtly adjusted his position to put less strain on his back. “Is everything okay?” he asked hesitantly. What if this was about the break? What if he had received bad news? What if he was also angry at Noah and had throw his phone at him because he was angry?
Okay, that last question was ridiculous, but Noah was still worried, puppy dogs forgotten in favor of giving Lucas his full attention even as he continued to gentle prob the tender spot on the back of his head. He winced, already feeling a headache starting to form.
