I’m half asleep reading my econ textbook and it was like “Consider the impossible trinity” and my dumb ass went “the father, the son, and the holy spirit” before remembering it meant the trinity of monetary independence, capital flow, and exchange rates.

so i was thinking earlier about how often azazel just goes to places to see them, half in part because he enjoys exploring different geographies and half in part bc he can go back whenever he wants. at will, az can pop himself to anywhere he’s ever been. and thats? so many places? he spent a good 30 yrs just wandering around, but always in the dark. people can’t tell you’re red when it’s dark out, so it’s not as dangerous. one of his favorite parts of the day is when the sun is just rising because it’s one of the only moments when people aren’t out and about and he can experience a city without skulking around in the shadows and avoiding being seen. so i think one of the reasons why he fights is so mutants that follow after him don’t have to be afraid as he is afraid. because while he does like inciting panic when it can serve a purpose, having to avoid simply being there in sight so as not to worry about being executed is not just.
