Anyways, I wanted to be more fluent in japanese so i rewatched sonic the hedgehog OVA but this time with japanese dub.

And i dont know why, but when i see the ova style and mania style? Idk why it feels like my artstyle is close mix of both... but it was fun!

Ya, I gotcha. I understand being a fan of something and choosing to not watch an adaptation, it bothers me a bit more when there are influencers telling hundreds of people that TOBS is basically defacing Austen's grave.

I fully understand where this show misses the mark on the period accuracy and yet I understand why. The lack of chaperones, the ''governess solution'' being presented as an option, the Bingley's and Darcy's reputations not being considered... these are anachronisms. And yet, it's clear to me that it's purposefully done to enhance the story and character beats.

Other critiques say ''this Mary isn't Austen's Mary'' but we have four full paragraphs on Mary in the whole of P&P and they are built upon Lizzie's impressions of her. Lizzie, whose whole journey is about presumption! Most of them are just there to remark on a personality that has read a lot and yet knows very little of the world. Like... in the show lol.

Anyyyyway. Rant over. I just don't think it's worth the influencer fuss. If Austen-inspired works are successful, that's GOOD for austen fans. You might not like this adaptation but maybe the next one is the one you dream of! TOBS success is a springboard, not the end-all-be-all.

sighing. i have to do some work for my finals thats due tonight but i dont wannaaaaaa i dont wanna figure out the mathhhhh i dont get ittttt why do i have to make the order sheet for my exam. i should have a pretty little thing sitting between my legs while i work, kissing up my thighs and teasing me every time my hips jerk up towards them, reminding me that i cant have more than this until my work is done.
