Sometimes I can’t believe they actually forgot Will’s age. I know that’s one line but it just shows the amount of carelessness in their writing, because even back when I was a casual fan I remembered their ages? They made it so clear they were 12 in the first season, 7th grade, and one quick Look at his missing poster will confirm he was 12:

Also they had them graduate at 1989, meaning they were 18, and Will went missing in November 1983, that’s simple math? Like they had so many opportunities to check his age and so many people on the production and yet they still made this mistake. And yeah it’s one line but it shows that the entire process of writing was so unserious and unprofessional, because that’s something they were supposed to notice at least on the first draft.
