Outer Wilds is ripe pluckin for a conlang, or at least a glyph replacement script.

So the nomai. All their names are related to flowers and plants and such. Their writing is this flowering, swirly thing growing from the seed of the conversation. Imagine each 'page' (individual swirl) to be a vine, each word a flower on the vine, and each letter an individual petal on the flower. The challenge would be designing the petals/letters.

Maybe that central seed is a glyph/flower for each person's name, with a variation for "I planted this conversation" and "I am adding to an existing conversation"
