Straight people genuinely piss me off so much they can't even be happy with straightness if it isn't within strict gender norms.

The blue and pink drink scene is personally I think, a bit deeper than just 'trans femme ralsei', DON'T get me wrong I do think trans-femme-ralsei-real about the FIRST part of the cutscene, I just wanna talk about the follow up which I haven't personally seen anyone point out.

When Ralsei asks Kris which voucher they want, the options are blue and pink, and green and yellow. Regardless of what you do Ralsei gets the blue-pink and Kris gets the green-yellow. Ya know, like

In the light world, Kris wears a hand-me-down sweater from Asriel. Whether they simply can't afford more clothes or never voice their want for new clothes is unclear, but we know from their dark world room that Kris 1. wants more clothes. Their own clothes. 2. Their favorite colors are blue and pink.

It makes me wonder, why does Flowery in trying to get Ralsei to choose their own fate, force Kris back into their 'role'? I suppose it could be to force Ralsei to make a 'selfish' decision, but I can't imagine the green-yellow color combination is a coincidence.

This also made me remember chapter 3, in which Susie switches the controllers around and Ralsei gets to be 'player 1' (Kris). I had thought then perhaps that maybe it could mean Ralsei taking the players 'choice' for themself, but now it seems to imply of Ralsei taking Kris's choice. Except Kris doesn't get much choice, since we're controlling them. So is this foreshadowing that sometime in the future, Ralsei will try and make Kris stick to their 'role'? But that seems so out of character for Ralsei. They WANT to subvert the prophecy, they just feel hopeless to do it.

Maybe it's about the fountains. Kris is plagued by something in their past, and the dark worlds are almost escapism given form. Kris loses themselves in their fantasies (relatable). Escapism in the dark world becomes derealization in the light world. I think Ralsei wants the dark world to be safe and happy for Kris and Susie, but doesn't want them to lose themselves in the dark. Maybe this means at some point in chapter 6 or 7, Ralsei will try to force Kris back into the Light World, so they don't lose themself. Cruel to be kind type of thing. idk.
