My roommate’s hatchling oc, Spodo(sol)! They’re Hornfels and Gossan’s hatchling. They’re terrified of space, but their love of plants compels them to explore.

IRL spodosols are common in pine forests (hence the hat) and have a white horizon (hence the scar)! Shoutout to my awesome roommate for the soil science details ::D

Outer wilds

So I was messing around in the starting village and got back to Slate, but the elevator to the launch platform was up.

So I went with hollow knight logic, and went directly below it to try and get it down

Well I got it down

A little bit faster than anticipated...

You know it's a good thing the loop exists otherwise Slate would need therapy.... and a shower....

Like by this time I got to see a few ways you can die, but damn that was violent.

Like have you ever seen a hydraulic press video? It was like that, but faster

Something very little i noticed is. In esker's signalscope log, when they notice feldspar's harmonica from timber hearth, their thought was "I NEED TO TELL GNEISS." Whereas when tektite finds the same thing their first thought is "WE CAN'T EVER TELL GNEISS."

Idk i just thought it was cute they both bring them up
