Typically I have no trouble yapping away about mommy suguru spankings (good shit) BUT WITH CULT SUGURU ITS ACTUALLY A REALLY INTERESTING DYNAMIC!!!!! bcuz the way i see him is..goofier more devoted, incredibly lovesick and doesn't really try to infantilize you as much as he mothers you yk???? Oof the spoilers I had read didn’t mention any of that. I can see how those aren’t great because like you said, reduces Sharon again to a love interest, and because it feels like Bucky’s character is repeating a storyline.

FIRST OF ALL i want to clarify that these leaks are likely fake since production started THIS WEEK LMFAO and this storyline is the same one that’s been going around since the show was announced, they just added sharon to it after EVC was announced 

it’s also a very barebones way of talking about it though. if it’s executed well when all the details come together, then amazing. idk, we’re all entitled to our opinions but mental illnesses like PTSD aren’t a cryo chamber and done type thing. they take time, they take a few slip ups even after you think everything is fine. 

hopefully sharon will be okay. the director for all 6 eps is a woman so hopefully she won’t let sharon slip through the cracks anymore
