Martin Luther King Jr and John Hume.

Each a righteous man who fought selflessly for their people be able to live without fear of bigotry or discrimination, to be treated with dignity and with equality.

John Hume cited King’s civil rights movement as an inspiration for his own in the north of Ireland.

And no I’m not taking away from King’s struggle and mission. I’m just showing how he inspired similar movements in other countries.

I’m posting this here and now since it’s MLK Jr Day in the USA. I thought the timing was appropriate.
