Same hat!
Bailey didn’t really know Odette Vogul. They’d spoken a few times, and Odette didn’t fall under the category that most people did in Bailey’s mind- that they were useless at best, and she wouldn’t care if they died at worst- which was fairly significant. Odette was also a bartender at Bailey’s favorite haunt, so they saw each other on a semi-regular basis.
They saw each other enough that when Bailey caught sight of Odette’s ingredient-full basket at the apothecary’s, it took her exactly five seconds to put together a conclusion long-coming, and based on very little at all. Based, in fact, solely on the fact that Bailey had never seen her at work around the full moon, and that every ingredient in her basket was a component in the wolfsbane potion.
She only just managed to hold her tongue in the store, but as soon as Odette stepped out Bailey abandoned her basket and chased her out into the street.
“Odette!” she called, rushing forward, then keeping her voice low. “You’re a werewolf, aren’t you? I knew it!”
