Tell me more abt the ice skater and hockey player Janka

HIHI YESS i wrote a lot in my notes but i'll just write some random here!

ice is one of the perfect elements to describe janka in my opinion (other than poison and fire)

it represents how both of them have cold hatred for one another when they first meet (with reasons not too different but not similar as well) i believe, that both of them lack the warmth that every human needs. they never feel special with anyone else, not filled with excitement with others

zanka skates as a sort of rebellion (?) to his family. the nijiku family are either in law enforcement or politics. zanka realizes that working hard for something he doesn't even want to do, leaves a bitter taste in his mouth. he wants validation and praise, but it doesn't taste sweet when it's from an emotionally unavailable family like the nijikus'

there are a few trips and slides along the way, but he'll make a name for himself.

zanka skates because it's all he ever wants to do. what he wants to show. he wants to reach an achievement without the nijiku surname backing him up. not only does he want to prove himself to his family, but also to himself. this will eventually lead him to build an ice cold exterior, one that will be broken by a certain someone.

jabber plays hockey as a way to forget his problems. getting on ice for the first time, skating with no guides whatsoever, it's exhilarating. amongst other sports, hockey is incredibly interesting. you have to be on a skill level of skating if you want to attempt to pick up a stick and a puck. jabber learns that the hard way, but it's part of the learning process.

sure there a few slips and bumps along the way, but he'll make it work for himself.
