(Just throws him into a quick heat lmao) Tarble probably would have appreciated some known company, but according to his guard (who, conveniently, had to take off for other matters) this was a good Saiyan, and decent person. Hopefully this male would hold up to expectations--- but Tarble would have to cross the threshold into his room, first. Which... didn't seem to be happening anytime soon. (Close enough. Cute sounds good to me.)
Sugikel waited patiently. That was his job; to stand silently, be an unmovable presence ready to spring into action at a moments notice. It’s an unbelievable honor to be assigned to the prince of all people while his usual guard was away, and he’d be lying if he said he wasn’t nervous as hell. But he’s good at keeping that under wraps, pushing it down beneath a stoic exterior. He has duties to attend to that require discipline and focus. However, the prince is late. The prince is never late. It’s enough for him to allow him the rare indulgence in impulsiveness to come to the door, to go looking for the man he is supposed to be guarding, only to find him just past the threshold. Sugikel is embarrassed to have acted so rashly, and falls to a knee before the royal. “Your majesty,” he rumbles with his head bowed, “I have been assigned to your protection.”
There’s a strange tension in the air that he can’t quite place, and a scent that makes his tail want to lash about, but he stifles the urge. It would be most unbecoming to show a lack of control in front of their youngest prince.
