     tiktok had become a more recent obsession of jinnie’s. she admitted, when braveheart first opened its account, she didn’t really get the hype. she only posted when mandated by the company. then sometime around the end of last year, the app had finally sunk its teeth into the maknae. once she discovered how entertaining it could be, there was no going back. months ago, she made a secret account to enjoy her curated ‘for you page’ in peace. she got things ranging from adorable cat videos to silly boyfriend memes that she always sent to minseok. but her favorite part of the app had to be foodtok. the recipes were awesome, and the recommendations were even better. the rose pastry shop, this adorable cafe in the city, had been popping up on her feed for days. content creators insisted it was the perfect place to have a date with a bestie. so naturally, jinnie finally sent the link to mei with an eyes emoji and a question mark — and soon, their plans were made.

    the taxi ride from the hotel wasn’t that long and eventually, the car slowed to a stop in front of the shop. the pink exterior was a welcoming sight, the fairy lights made it appear out of movie. “ we’re here ! ” jinnie exclaimed as the two stepped out of the taxi. she made sure to thank the driver before shutting the car door, smiling as she linked arms with her best friend. the two walked inside the cafe and she realized in that moment, tiktok didn’t do it justice. it was even prettier in person. “ this has to be the cutest thing i’ve ever seen. ” she gushed, her eyes taking in their surroundings. it smelled sweet and everyone inside seemed to be enjoying themselves. she couldn’t wait for the two of them to grab a drink and some treats, and find a nice spot to enjoy the sights. “ today’s on me, meimei~ whatever you want. ”
