Kingsley was not the type to wallow in self-pity. He liked to take responsibility for his actions or inactions. Then again, a child had never died right under his nose. He had promised he would protect that child but, in the end, he wasn’t far enough in the Death Eater’s circle to know all the plans. He tried not to beat himself up, but it was hard considering he had let so many people down. And no one had any idea. He needed to destress, but also make it seem like he was fine. Happy even. Visiting Alessia was perfect. The clientele were the people he needed to trick and the drinks were always flowing. Kingsley entered the club and sat towards the back of the club. The dancers were lovely, sure, but Kingsley was only interested in one that evening. Well, Alessia and some drinks. A waitress walked over and he ordered his drink. “Also, will you let Alessia know I’m here for a social call. Thank you, ma’am.” Kingsley forced a smile on his face.
