There were two types of people in Kingsley’s life - friends and people he received information from. Some people fell into both categories, like Isaac, but Kingsley made a point to not seem like he was fishing for information all the time. And he wasn’t, he genuinely like Issac and they had become close ever since Mr. Buchanan had introduced them, but it was hard for Kingsley to turn that part of his brain off sometimes. Knowing that his friend had spent the better half of the last two days looking into the most recent events, he expected Issac could use a break from work. And if he wanted to vent about the current case... Well, that would be a welcome addition to the evening, but Kingsley was coming to support his friend. And that was it. Kingsley knocked on the door, some drinks and his mother’s cooking in hand. “Open up, I’ve got food from my mum!”
