juniper is standing in the doorway in her sweats as the rain pours outside. she shakes her head at his antics. she thought the pogues were bad with their shit but topper really takes the cake with it. "i will not be responsible for your death, thorton. the last thing i want to do is deal with your angry mother." she warns him before her brows draw together as he continues to talk. "did you just....did you just quote the notebook at me? oh my god." she can't contain the laugh that tumbles from her lips before she huffs, hand on her hips. "if i say yes, will you get your ass out of the rain?" it's not like they haven't been bordering it. if she'd just let go of the stubborness that's holding her back. they've been on plenty of dates at this point, she just hasn't given him the title.

the sky is clear, the stars are shining and the moon is high in the sky. there is a cool breeze keeping the summer night heat bearable as they lay in the back of his truck. her bottom lip is tugged between her teeth as she concentrates drawing upside down on the fogged up windows. her stomach twitches every time his fingers brush over a more sensitive spot but it doesn't break her focus. she's become pretty adapted to distractions while working on her art. she's trying to draw a jellyfish.
" good ! Sarah said us girls gotta stick together and I think at the time she was just trying to get me to lie to dad about her but she's right regardless. You're cool and should know it. " She says confidently with a nod then sits still while June parts her hair and applies the bleach. She shivers. " Ooo that feels weird... Do you dye your hair a lot by the way ? "

"probably but it's still a good motto to live by. the guys travel like packs of wolves. we should do the same." she smiled at the young cameron. she really does view this girl like a little sister. "i haven't in a while and i haven't done my whole head in a really long time but i like to add some color every once and a while. a little strip or something so it's not a lot of upkeep."
She nods and listens to every word just excited to finally get this done and when she says she's gonna look cool she beams at juniper. " I totally trust you ! You're like the coolest person I know next to Sarah. If you look it I know I will! But that stuff totally stinks I better not smell like that "

"while it actually bleaches your hair, yeah. then you'll shower and it'll be all fine." the older girl starts to apply the bleach to the youngest cameron's hair.

"i am not the jealous type and you really can't expect that i would get jealous over that." it sounds harsh. it probably is but junie doesn't play the games. if someone didn't want her, she wasn't going to make them want her. she's fine being on her own and didn't see other's as competition.
