video games and no chill;
@gnminjae
This is, by far, the best idea Mika’s ever had.
Sure, he only met Minjae four days ago, and he’s only been over to his house once before, and he didn’t text Minjae before setting out for his house, the other boy did say that Mika could come over ‘any time’. So--there’s no time like the present!
Mostly, though, he’s just excited to be able to play. Minjae’s kind of like the cherry on top of the massive cake. The cake being free access to his massive library of games.
Unfortunately, Minjae’s the first friend Mika’s made in Korea. And he hasn’t had the time or willpower to go to the store and get proper service for his phone to answer his texts. With no service, he doesn’t really have a way to tell Minjae he’s here. Like, now.
It’s the best idea Mika’s ever had, but certainly not the most well-planned one.
“Well...” he mumbles to himself and surveys the porch. It’s pretty basic. A potted plant, a mat by the door, and a chair. It reminds him of the typical front seen in a family-friendly TV show. He didn’t get a good look of it the first time he came over to Minjae’s place, but it’s so basic that he almost expects there to be-- “If this works...”
Nudging back the mat back with his shoe, he rolls his eyes, mostly in fondness. “Of course.” He snatches up the key. “Just like the movies.” The key fits in perfectly and Mika tiptoes inside, slipping off his shoes and shutting the door as quietly as possible behind him.
“Minjae,” he whispers, peering around the corner into the living room. “Hey! Sorry for coming over so suddenly. Can I use your PS4?”
