Breath will come in short gasps--the ritual had been complete. For the sake of a single, selfish wish, Lios would stake everything on this. To be reunited with his parents--be it in life or death...should he win or lose the war, he’d have received what he wanted. Still, the amount of mana he’d used within the ritual, had him having to take a moment to gather himself.
Azure eyes will fixate upon the other, eyes widening in awe before averting out of respect. The one before him was regal--they had to be royalty. Inclining his head, Lios will gather his strength, his words.
“Hey, hey...can you tell me who you are? I don’t think any label would fit someone like you. For all these words, you leave me speechless. This feeling...I’ve never experienced this before. Excitement? Awe?”
But there was no fear in Lios’ voice. No...this fool knew no fear, even if people tried to force that feeling upon him. A soft snort would sound and, he’d finally look up with a bright grin.
“Hehe...I think I did summon you, but someone as great as you shouldn’t call me master. I like names, real names. Like mine, you can call me Lios!”
A hand would lift, to show the seals upon it, freshly engraved.
“Your summoning...means if I live or die, my wish will already be granted. Therefore! I will devote myself to...making sure to help you achieve yours, okay? Thank you...for existing!”
With a soft chuckle, Lios will remain, patient for the other’s judgement. While he hoped he was worthy, a small part of him told himself that this might indeed be the end for him here and then. He remembered how his family had left, so many years ago...leaving him behind. He searched and searched...even now, he was still searching. Truth be told, he was terrified to be alone, feeling cast out by his family.
It was enough for him to stumble across this rite. He read the risks, heard the warnings, and had still done this. This...set his heart’s desire in stone. For this--for the Servant, he would give his everything for them.
