“You certainly sound concerned for someone that isn’t dating him,” Cas remarked idly, not having failed to notice the way all the questions seemed to go back to one subject: Mirek. As far as Cas could tell, Walden MacNair may have been a murderer, but he was also short and cute and apparently protective over his exes. How ridiculous.
“But I’ve heard you’re married now, so I’m sure it’s not jealousy.” It probably wasn’t wise to rile up a man with an ax and Cas knew he should watch his mouth, but instead all he did with it was smile. “But I’m sure you could find out all of this from him, so maybe you’re just curious about me.
