“Why is knitting so hard...” She can knit a scarf, no problem! But knitting a pair of gloves? Yes problem!

“Ice skating looks fun and easy, but it’s not. It’s scary and hard.” She may or may not have fallen over one too many times during her prior attempt at ice skating— even though she was clinging onto the wall for dear life the entire time.

Building a snowman seemed easy enough... in video games that is. Sure, she’s made plenty in that one animal village game over the years, but has Haruka made an actual real snowman before? Absolutely not! A friend of hers promised to show her months before she ended up in Spirale, among many other promises the two made. A series of promises that that would remain unfulfilled as long as she was still here.

But enough about that, she was gonna build a snowman! She starts by rolling a ball of snow, easy enough to start with, yet it eventually became much too heavy for her to push on her own— despite the fact that the snowball itself didn’t look very big. Regardless, she was going to need some help.

“Ah! E-Excuse me! Can you help me real quick? I’m trying to move this snowball...” After waving a few times to get the girl’s attention, she lightly kicks the snowball a few times. An idea coming to mind, she tries to push the snowball with her foot in hopes it would be helpful. Alas, the snowball wouldn’t budge.

After spending a couple of hours wandering around Fibonacci, having some soup while looking at all the different ice sculptures, Haruka decided it would be best to go home for the day. While Haruka didn’t particularly mind cooler temperatures, it was much too cold for her liking, much too cold to spend wandering around all day.

Just as she began to walk away from the sculptures, something caught her eye. A few steps away from the ice sculptures, she spots something curled up on a bench, away from the snow. A hedgehog, she thinks. Was it someones pet? She didn’t know, yet just to be sure, she waited for a few minutes before eventually approaching the animal, just in case someone came looking for it.

“Jeeeeez... It’s negative freezing and someone leaves an animal out in the cold? They shouldn’t be allowed to take care of animals if they do stuff like that...” She mumbles, taking her scarf off to gently wrap around the hedgehog, carefully cradling it and the scarf in her arms. Haruka wondered if there was an animal shelter in the city, yet for now, she was going back home, she’ll search for an animal shelter or the like once she’s out of the cold.

Here’s a starter call for winterfes! I’m going to tentatively cap it at 3, considering that there will be another event coming on the 6th and it’s highly likely I’ll want to make another starter call then. (However, if we’ve interacted before, feel free to like beyond the cap!)

As for specific locations she can be found, well... To be honest, everything seems interesting to her so she’ll probably be wandering around quite a bit. Although, you’ll probably find her hanging around Fibonacci or Archimedes more because free soup and she wants to build a snowman.
