oscar is still very nervous around the group. he is very aware that most of them, if not all of them, will not trust ozpin again; someone oscar fully believes he will become sometime in the near future. this means he will even be more cautious around them and will hesitate to disclose any information ozpin decides to give him or any mention of the headmaster’s presence itself. but he will always tell them if something happens, just not immediately so he can mentally prepare himself for any repercussions it has.

on top of this, oscar still gets anxiety around the most vocal members in their disdain for ozpin. this includes yang, qrow, and jaune and oscar may even get startled on occasion if any of these three make any sudden movements near him.
