* . . . an unbreakable bond / starter for @ji-ho !
sometimes peyton got a little bored at work. and sometimes when peyton got a little bored, peyton also got a little reckless. or so others say. he, for one, didn’t think he was that reckless — at least not anymore. he was just having fun, amusing himself. was there anything wrong with that? sometimes. maybe. maybe peyton shouldn’t have knocked over the stack of glasses on the table in front of him just because he wanted to see what would happen, but there were a lot of other things the male probably shouldn’t do, and yet here he was.
but hey, the glasses had already been broken by some rowdy customers during the most recent shift they were now closing up and there was glass on the ground that peyton was already going to have to clean. so no harm no foul, right? or something like that.
he winces, face scrunching up in a snicker when the glasses crash onto the floor and shatter predictably into a million little pieces. he’s quick to look up and scope out the area to see if his wonderful coworker and friend had caught him in the act (which he should have done before pushing the glasses off the edge), but jiho had to be familiar with his antics by now and frankly, peyton didn’t really didn’t care.
he throws the rag over his shoulder once he finishes wiping down the table and skillfully hops over the mess he created. rounding the corner to grab the broom, peyton lifts his head with just enough time to stumble backwards and gracefully avoid running into the older male. “woah— ho, hey,” he exhales, offering a lighthearted grin. “might wanna watch where you step in there, dude.”
