idk how owning land back in ye olden works but they have an estate near the coast. the actual house/manor they live in is modest in size, and there are several families that live under their protection, mostly the servants and locals who were already living in the areas surrounding them.

the bann and his wife personally see to every single thing. they know the first names of those under their care and they make sure to let their children help out with farming, etc.

they have two dogs (equivalent of german shepherds) and a black cat.

like his older brother, edwyn does in fact have a job; he works at the port in ostwick as an operative. the trevelyans actively encourage their children to go out and experience life, mingle with others, instead of sitting around, being useless to society at large like most other nobles.

the reason the trevelyans are the seventh/eighth most illustrious family is because something happened that caused the number to drop; they used to be much higher up. not that the family is desperate or anything, but they are still trying to fix the mess so others won’t get caught in their family drama.
