doesn’t understand wealth disparity. “it’s okay, we can donate it if it doesn’t fit.” / “wdym you don’t go skiing every winter? do your parents not like you?” someone give him a reality check, quick.

stubborn. so stubborn. catch him in the practice rooms past midnight trying to perfect this ( 1 ) movement. on that note, can’t back down from a challenge. he’s not trying to impress anyone; he just wants to prove that he can do it … even if it means being sent to the hospital with gastrointestinal issues bc he refused to put down the 3x buldak noodles. mother’s a prosecutor turned judge, could’ve overseen a case that’s personal to you? he adamantly supports his parents & will put up a fight if you oppose them.

MAGPIE was a child raised in the infamous Honorhall Orphanage. Though aside from that, none can really say they know him at all. He offers very little beyond the very basics. He lives in Riften, and has so for all of his life. And as far as he is concerned, that is all you should know. When pressed further, he’ll often spin long-winded tales, embellished and are more fiction than reality— if at all. 

He often escaped Grelod’s wrath by sneaking off into Riften, where he’d work as a fence for the thieves guild at the tender age of 8. It is there that he learned his skills— Sneaking was useful enough to pry the coin out of a miser’s purse, or even to pilfer misplaced goods, even food. But in truth, Magpie considers these to be lesser skills. General thievery granted wealth, if you were good enough to not get caught. No, he learned from a very young age to listen and listen well. And to him, that was a far more valuable skill.

He learned that secrets were more valuable than gold ever would be. He learned just how careless and arrogant the powerful could be, just how vulnerable they truly became when they believed themselves safe. After all, what kind of a threat would a brat be? 

His years as a spy for the thieves guild proved to be invaluable. To become unassuming enough to gain the trust of his targets, and yet just important enough to not be rid of. To know just enough to remain alive. 

Where the other children had surrendered themselves to their fate, Magpie clawed his way out of that pit. Even if it meant dragging down others in his stead, it didn’t matter to him. Just as he didn’t matter to them.

waddup im lee and this is my cute, dorky son jude. he’s my bABY boy and i can’t WAIT to play with him and you all. kinda lazy intro but ENJOY.

when you have two superheroes for parents--- your childhood is never going to turn out very “normal”. they certainly attempted to give him and his twin the best (”normalest”) childhood possible but, when you’re trading out family camping trips for saving the world--- some things happen. 

so my hc is that jessica was the more stay at home determined to be a good mom one--- put her children and family FIRST kind of mom. while carol is... she loves her family but. she LOVES being a hero and was always off in space saving the day or doing shit. she stayed in the avengers while jess retired to street level stuff.  

i imagine they’re from a big family? jess drew just. collects children honestly. anya, cindy, peter, miles, gwen. they’re all like aunts and uncles or brothers and sisters to them. same with tony and steve on carol’s side. but then they also have probably several adopted siblings??? like. family of five to six. jess fosters runaway mutants. it happens. and lab kids? kids made by hydra? oh my gooood jess is all over it.

jude and his twin have the dorkiest parents around, (trust me), and their names ended up being pretty dorky. he was named for the beatles song hey jude (which ended up being his lullaby)--- that was by jess who’s an oldie. while his middle name? his middle name was picked by carol--- after captain kirk’s middle name. go figure. 

jude is, key word, a dork. he never played baseball or was very active as a kid. he stuck to watching star wars and puzzles. video games. he’s a big nerd. his room is full of collectibles and comics. he’s got books on astrophysics. he LOVES space. L O V  E S it.

he inherited his mum’s (jess drew) bio-electric manipulation. but while his mum can make “venom blasts” from her hand--- jude can manipulate electricity from every part of his body. strong enough he can short circuit things at times.

he’s like. a little genius. he finished high school at 14 and college at 18. then he took a couple years off. that’s when the hero and avengers thing happened.

being an avenger wasn’t exactly his main plan. he’d love to be an astrophysics or astronaut. he’s sort of doing this to make his mom (carol danvers) proud. he’s got plans to eventually get back to college to get his phd. 

jude is a good humored, kind kid. really. he doesn’t get into trouble much. he’s sweet and kind--- a little clumsy and sometimes naive. he’s easily pushed around by others and overly trusting. he’s been hurt quite a few times by people. he wants to give everyone a chance. (he gets that from his mum.)

i’m looking for anything for him! but i’d especially love:

best friends! his ride and die.

old friend. probably another avenger kid. they were best friends since childhood and then--- as they got older--- they just drifted away. he’s sad about it.

bad influence. what it says on the tin.

Translation: Short answer, absolutely. Well thought out and logical answer - not a chance in hell. Vincenzo doesn’t believe in second chances and the fact that Daniele died is reason enough for him to believe that it was simply his brothers time. The concept that everything happens for a reason - with God’s plan in mind, makes him think that perhaps he was always meant to end up here. He was always meant to take the mantle after his brother and the timing of it - with everything happening with the Russians etc, makes him wonder if the rage that he carries in lieu of losing his brother is exactly what the Sovrani need at this point in time --- but that doesn’t make him any more accepting of such a hard loss.
