What would Royalty’s reaction be if she found Andrew’s darling attempting to escape?
* I wish more people would ask about the characters in the shared universe....like a Bonnie and Zack ask or like this one, a Royalty and Andrew one. It's so interesting in my opinion
* CW: Mentions of Elijah
* Royalty is fully aware of her knight's behavior. How he's been stalking one of her subjects and has been trying to court them for a while. And, of course, it's a little hard NOT to notice how people have started to just...disappear. But no matter. It doesn't affect his ability to do his job too much. A man needs his hobbies, right?
* Royalty absolutely does NOT have a sense of what healthy love is supposed to be like. She grew up with Elijah, after all. A possessive, disgusting man who would lock her away most of the time for fear of her talking to anyone else. Or she would constantly be watched to make sure she wasn't doing anything Elijah wouldn't approve of.
* So I think you can see why she isn't bothered when Andrew starts to do the same to you. It's what she knows. It's what's normal for her. This is how you show someone you love them, right?
* When Royalty was younger, Elijah really hammered in the lesson of "don't leave your room without permission". Of course, she was stubborn a few times and didn't listen, which always resulted in not-so-nice things happening to her as a "punishment". She learned very quickly to stay put if her brother told her to. She hoped you would be good. That you would just listen to Andrew and stay in your room.
* But, you didn't.
* It was a mild surprise to her when she was walking down the hall and stumbled across you. Andrew's already had trouble with you before so one of your legs were broken. Despite that you were still trying to hobble along and get away.
* Royalty's never actually interacted with you before. She, quite frankly, doesn't care about you or whatever Andrew's up to when it comes to your relationship with him. Your first meeting with her being you trying to get away is a horrible first impression in her eyes.
* As any normal person would do in this situation, I think you'd probably ask her for help. Try to explain how her knight is INSANE and how he broke your leg and is keeping you in one of the bedrooms. Royalty's hardly listening.
* Andrew definitely wouldn't be happy if he found you were gone. He's always seemed a bit cold and stoic but Royalty could tell he was clearly happy having you here, even if you caused him trouble. You were his reason to live. If you got away, he would spend all his time looking for you. Or if you got hurt while trying to escape, Andrew would definitely lose it a bit.
* Overall, it's a big inconvenience if you got away. Not that she even thinks you successfully could. You'd get caught eventually. But even so, it's best to deal with this now while she can. I mean, how can you be so ungrateful? Andrew is someone of high status. He's handsome, and a gentleman. He's letting you live in one of the best rooms in the castle and you're trying to get away? And for what? Just because he's a little harsh when you misbehave?
* Royalty finds it ridiculous. You're basically asking for him to hurt you by acting like such a brat. If she had acted like this when she was younger, Elijah would have done worse than a little broken leg. You're getting off lucky.
* So she doesn't even let you finish your explanation. Her eyebrows furrow angrily and for a moment you think her anger is directed towards Andrew for imprisoning you and just being crazy overall. But no.
* You find yourself being lifted in the air, an aura of light blue surrounding you. Magic? You looked at Royalty, confused. What was she doing? Royalty just stares back at you with a half lidded look, like you were nothing more than a fly buzzing around. Before you could even ask what was going on, you found yourself being flung back into your bedroom.
* You landed to the ground with a thud and a loud groan of pain left your throat. That definitely agitated your leg. As you blearily lifted your head, you saw Royalty standing at the door. And it was then that it was abundantly clear she was NOT going to help. Before you could even call out for her to wait, the door slammed shut and you could hear it locking from the outside once more.
* Royalty went on about her day after that. She most likely forgot about the encounter a few days later. It wasn't really anything of significance to her, after all. Andrew's behavior may seem crazy to everyone else but she gets it. She understands how it is. When you love someone...you have to keep them safe. Keep them to yourself. It's all completely reasonable to her.
* Even so, she doesn't tell Andrew about your little escape attempt. Why bother? You barely got out of your room and she had dealt with the matter before things got out of hand. No need to stress Andrew out when the situation was over before it even truly started.
* That's the main reason, at least. But a little part of her fears what Andrew would do to you if he found out. Not because she thinks he's an awful, violent man. Of course not. But Elijah used to be very sweet on her too until she did something stupid. And her punishments were always so awful. For all she knows, Andrew could be the exact same way with you.
* So she thinks it's best for everyone if she keeps her mouth shut.
