* dio and blake definitely both start creaking and groaning about their joints and body earlier than a perfectly healthy person their age would be considering all they did and do is fight. blake has more scars and is more open about when he's hurting even though he'll still smile and wave it off. dio on the other hand still hides her pain because it's internal, it should stay that way. she might be slow getting up or do big sighs when having to move and sound dramatic or irritated, but it's really just her accidentally slipping that she should probably take something for pain. surprisingly, she's more likely to take something for the pain than blake is.

dio’s body is in a constant state of regeneration to make up for the degeneration caused by the venom and poison/general acid in her blood and just in general pain all the time but it’s more of an annoying ache that reminds her of a past she won’t be able to get away from
