tuesday afternoons were always athena’s favorite. her classes finished early so she got to go pick up olivia from daycare and take her to the park. which is where they were currently. the blonde stood at the end of the slide while her daughter slid down it, her giggles echoing for everyone to hear. while her pregnancy had been difficult with drew leaving, she still had people around her. one of them being her girlfriend. they’d started dating about four months into her pregnancy and they couldn’t be happier. they were their own little family. out of the corner of her eye, she spotted her lover making her way over to them after having been at work. she scooped the three-year-old up into her arms and crossed the path to meet her in the middle. “look baby, it’s mama.” she cooed before leaning over to greet the woman with a kiss. unbeknownst to them they were being watched by someone she hadn’t seen in over three years. @chocolxtes

this isn’t where athena had pictured she would be at nineteen years old. pacing in the bathroom as a pregnancy test reading positive sat on the sink. she knew that when it really came down to it, things were going to be okay. she’d sat down with her mom the night before and explained the whole situation and while the woman had been shocked, she was completely supportive of her daughter as always. the thing that scared her most was losing drew because she knew that this wasn’t what the other girl wanted. after barely speaking to her girlfriend for a week, she’d invited her over to be here when she took the test. the blonde continued to pace for a few minutes, not wanting to face the brunette on the other side of the door. finally, she took a deep breath and opened the door. wordlessly, she handed drew the test and moved passed her to lay on her bed. @chocolxtes
