It's pretty obvious that Renji is still waiting for a response to a rather reckless series of photos, grey orbs eye the dark screen tensed and he taps impatient onto his mobile, waiting for a reaction, a message tone, a vibrating sound or a flashing light. And the waiting is killing him. Silver strands cover his insecure expression, the more time passes the more nervous he gets, several thoughts cross his mind and each one is worse than the next - the whole situation is terrible. It was a bad idea to give in to his wish.
Because without his attempt at persuasion Renji would never have done anything this embarrassing, he just did it because he is skilled with words. He knows how to twist him around his little finger and Renji was so stupid to heed his wish. Which won’t happen again. Definitely.
An annoying sound, the noise of his message tone, startles him out of his thoughts, Renji flinches briefly, but the feeling of being relieved outweighs his worries soon --
